Meanwhile, actor Akshay Kumar climbed to sixth place in 2020 with a whopping $48.5 million in annual earnings, beating Hollywood giants like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Will Smith and Jackie Chan.

           Shah Rukh Khan - $800 million
As reported by India.com, Shah Rukh Khan is charging around USD 13 million for his upcoming film Pathan, produced by Yash Raj Films. With more than 108 film credits under his belt, the 55-year-old actor has an estimated net worth of $800 million. Of course, he didn't amass his vast fortune through acting alone.
His production company since 2003, Red Chillies Entertainment, has produced a number of box office hits. He also co-owns Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders with actor Juhi Chawla and enjoys lucrative deals with Hyundai, LG, Dubai Tourism, Ambani's Reliance Jio and Tata Group's BigBasket.


      Amitabh Bachchan – USD 400 million
The legendary Indian actor began his career in the 1970s and starred in many successful films, including recent hits such as Piku (2015), Pink (2016) or Thugs of Hindustan (2018). The veteran actor also appeared in the Hollywood film The Great Gatsby (2013). 

The 79-year-old actor has various businesses in addition to films. He bought a 10 percent stake in Just Dial in 2013 and has a 3.4 percent stake in cloud computing company Stampede Capital.

          

           Salman Khan – USD 260 million

Actor Salman Khan transformed from a rom-com actor to an action star with films like Wanted (2009) and Dabangg (2010). According to Celebrity Net Worth, Khan earned an impressive $40 million between 2017 and 2018. The star also has his own production company Salman Khan Films with an operating income of around USD 400 million. The 55-year-old actor has even appeared as a TV host for 10 Ka Dum and Bigg Boss and served as brand ambassadors for Pepsi, Suzuki and Emami Healthy.
