K.G.F: Chapter 2 is a 2022 Indian Kannada language action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the title Hombale Films. The second installment in the two-part series, acts as a sequel to the 2018 K.G.F film: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj. The assassin follows Rocky, who, after establishing himself as the king of the Kolar Gold Fields, must retain his sovereignty over enemies and government officials, while agreeing with his past.

Produced at a budget of ₹ 100 crore (US $ 13 million), K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the most expensive Kannada film ever made. Neel retained the experts from his predecessors with Bhuvan Gowda in charge of cinematography and Ravi Basrur who plays the music of the song and the background of the film. Dutt and Tandon joined the cast in early 2019, marking the previous film Kannada. Parts of the film were shot in sequence in Chapter 1. In addition to recording the second highest opening day in India, the film recorded home opening day records in Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam, and surpassed its previous lifetime by two days to become the most lucrative Kannada film. With a profit of ₹ 750 crore (US $ 98 million) worldwide, K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the highest gross Indian film ever, and the third highest grossing film in India.
